We have visited relatives and been to the lake, museums, shopping, and just sightseeing. Today my Dad took us on a 1900 era steam lowenstine train trip. Kim enjoyed boarding an old ship, too. I AM disappointed with reactions to my witnessing though. Enjoy your summer! It is situated on the south bank of the Ottawa. The government buildings are the most attractive features of the city. They were erected at a cost of nearly $5,000,000. They form three sides of a quadrangle. The south is occupied by the Parliament building which is 472 feet long and 572 feet deep. Over the principal entrance stands the Victoria tower which rises to a height of 180 feet and is surrounded by a great iron crown. AboutAfter purchasing a large lot of postcards I became fascinated! The idea that these messages are from over 100 years ago is amazing and I wanted a way to preserve and share them. Archives
