In 1954, a windshield was installed on the cars. All four cars toured Montreal until 1957. They currently reside in museums across Canada and the United States.

Message: Dear Mr. and Mrs. Reber,
Kim and I are spending two weeks with my Mom. We have visited relatives and been to the lake, museums, shopping, and just sightseeing. Today my Dad took us on a 1900 era steam lowenstine train trip. Kim enjoyed boarding an old ship, too. I AM disappointed with reactions to my witnessing though. Enjoy your summer! Love, Donna

Back: 54. Main Block, House of Parliament, Ottawa, Canada, -- Ottawa is the capital of the Dominion of Canada and was founded in 1827. It is situated on the south bank of the Ottawa. The government buildings are the most attractive features of the city. They were erected at a cost of nearly $5,000,000. They form three sides of a quadrangle. The south is occupied by the Parliament building which is 472 feet long and 572 feet deep. Over the principal entrance stands the Victoria tower which rises to a height of 180 feet and is surrounded by a great iron crown. The first stone was laid by the Prince of Wales in 1860.
