Sister Edith and all - Here I am we came here 2 days ago. Leave in morning for Nova Scotia Hallie Shaw and I be home by Aug 1st but Chicago Jully 18 - Tell the girls will write to them later. Tell Minnie I got her letter day I left. Rain here very cold 54 degrees have summer clothes. We took a ride on this St.(street) Car looks like made of gold these are beautiful cities - were at the Chatauqua Lake last week Heard New York symphony orchestra we come home by way of Boston maybe New York. Hope all are Ok. Marie HT

The World Famous Sightseeing Observation Tramway Car history:
These cars were considered the "Golden Chariot" and was a tiered car originally built to hold a band. Two cars were made in 1905 and two additional cars were made in 1924. In 1954, a windshield was installed on the cars. All four cars toured Montreal until 1957. They currently reside in museums across Canada and the United States.

Dear Rachel,
How are the grapes?
Your letter of recent date received last night and was exceedingly glad to hear from you. Also glad to hear you are spending a few days at "Camp Colony" as I am sure you are having a fine time and the rest will do you good. I am getting along very well Rachel, at least Mr. Fuller thinks so and as he is manager of the Co. he ought to know. Mr. Fuller is gone or out on the road about 1/2 the time and he expects me to run things just as he would, if he was here and so far there has never been a complaint. Haven't missed a day since my return here Xmas. I have to put in seven days a week and until 9 & 10 o'clock every night. Just have to do it to keep work up. As to when I will come home I haven't the least idea in the world. just when I see a chance to get off for a week and goodness only knows when that will be. from the looks of things now, it will be about Xmas. well Rachel must go to dinner. Norm(?) is the same old girl(?) from what I can here. Haven't had a letter from her for 2 (?) weeks? K. L. Hoer?
